25th April 1985: When Sam leaps into sex therapist Doctor Ruth Westheimer in the middle of a phone-in radio show, his prudish nature causes him to squirm at the intimate details of his callers’ problem; meanwhile, Al is highly entertained, having had a chance to chat to Doctor Ruth back in the Waiting Room. Sam’s mission is to play matchmaker between Doctor Ruth’s producer, Debbie Shaefer and her announcer, Doug Reiser – the only problem being that they appear to hate each other; however, he also becomes involved with the predicament of Annie Wilkins, a caller whose boss is sexually harassing her at work. While Doctor Ruth helps Al to sort out his love life with Tina, Sam receives another call from a terrified Annie, who believes she has heard her boss outside her apartment door – but as Sam tries to talk to her, the phone suddenly goes dead…
